What are your favorite travel destinations?

“I do a lot of wilderness and outdoor stuff, anything that falls under that genre. I don’t go back to the same place very often. That being said, I’m looking at going to Canada sometime next year to try to get out of the summer heat.”

What has been the highlight of your career?

“The highlight of my career is what I’m doing now where I’m in more and more interesting businesses, especially with the pandemic. It’s opened up the opportunity where you’re not driving from client to client so you can get a lot more done in the day from switching from one company to another without having that physical distance issue.”

What is your favorite part about being a CPA?

My favorite part is being able to have a set of skills that applies in so many different places. I do accounting work with distilleries, I work with cannabis, I work with manufacturers, I work with nonprofits and in so many different spaces. I think what’s cool about being a CPA is that you are doing the same set of skills in all of those organizations, and if you do it well it can really make a difference.”
