Funding a Scholarship

As the cost of higher education continues to rise, providing a scholarship to a student has become even more meaningful and impactful. Through The Ohio CPA Foundation, you can directly support a student on his or her way to becoming a CPA by creating a scholarship or designating a gift of any amount to the Statewide Scholarship Fund.

Endowed Scholarship

Establish a named scholarship endowment with a minimum gift of $25,000. Endowments:
  • Remain in perpetuity
  • Use only the income for awards
  • Can be established as memorial scholarships or as ways to honor an individual, organization, corporation or foundation
As a donor, you decide the basic terms of the award and who is eligible for the scholarship.

Endowment pledges can be fulfilled over a five-year pledge period.

Continuing Named Scholarship

This option allows you to fund a scholarship of $2,000 for at least five years. Continuing Named Scholarships can be given in the name of an organization, foundation, corporation or individual.

One-time Contribution

Add your donation of any amount to the existing Statewide Scholarship Fund, which benefits accounting majors throughout Ohio.

We will work with you to maximize the benefit of your gift and fulfill your wishes for the award. Please contact us at (800) 686-2727 or foundation@ohiocpa.com if you are interested in creating or contributing to a scholarship.
