OSCPA member Michael Fritz, CPA, of Blacklick on Nov. 3 was elected as vice-chair of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy, while Society member Kenya Watts, CPA, retained her position on the NASBA Board as Great Lakes Regional Director.

Fritz – whom we profiled in May – is a past member of OSCPA’s Executive Board and has served the Society in several capacities, including the Audit and Endorsement committees, and, most recently, the Ohio CPA Foundation Development Committee. He has also served as chair of the Accountancy Board of Ohio. He is in line to become chair of NASBA next year.

Watts, who is also currently serving as vice-chair of the Accountancy Board of Ohio, has been an OSCPA member for 13 years, including six years as the Society’s controller.
