The keys to tackling automation in finance

OSCPA's Advance program kicks off today, and one topic we're going to cover is the increasing impact automation will have on the accounting profession.

This recent piece in Accounting Today explains why it's incumbent upon not only innovators to communicate these changes, but how "employees will need to develop a new, more flexible view of their work."

“You have to push people not to fix what you already have but to eliminate problems and processes,” said Robert Giglietti, GE operational controller. “That mentality shift is really hard when you are trying to drive big transformation.”
