Building an ethical culture is a challenge for all organizations, says OSCPA executive vice president Laura Hay, CPA, CAE.
“Market demand for greater information about organizations’ purpose and intangible capitals has positioned financial professionals in the center of delivering and reporting on new types of information,” Hay said.
Hay will be presenting “Professional Ethics: Conduct beyond reproach” at the 2022 IPA Conference on Sept. 14, where she will discuss how there’s not always one perfect right answer for every situation and professional ethics is about looking at several solutions and choosing the best path.
"The profession is facing many new pressures, with technology transformation, the demand for talent, supply chain and geopolitical issues among the issues placing additional strain on our role upholding the ethical standards of the profession," Hay said.
The conference will cover GASB updates, OCS updates, ethics and more. Register now.
