Ohio's biennial budget bill brought significant change to Ohio's municipal income tax system, most notably optional centralized filing for net profit taxpayers.

“Effective for taxable years beginning on or after Jan. 1, 2018, taxpayers subject to a municipal net profit tax may elect to file on a centralized basis,” writes Adam Garn, CPA, JD, in the January/February issue of CPA Voice.
