Poll respondents expect fatter paychecks

Written on Feb 01, 2018

Most respondents to OSCPA’s Quick Poll last week expect to see – or are hopeful for – a bigger paycheck starting in February, thanks to federal tax reform.

Thirty-nine percent said they expect that outcome, while another 29% said they were cautiously optimistic. Of the remaining respondents, 18% said they do not expect a bigger paycheck, while 7% have not looked into the issue yet. Another 7% had other thoughts, including one respondent who is an independent contractor, and another who usually owes tax money each year and prefers to keep it that way. As always, our Quick Poll results are non-scientific. (But they make for great conversation starters.)

This week, tell us about your rooting interest in the big game.
