Tax-free shopping: Ohio makes back-to-school weekend permanent
Parents won't pay sales tax on certain school supplies during the first weekend in August from now on. Gov. John Kasich signed a permanent sales tax holiday into law March 30. This year, the tax-free weekend will be Aug. 3 through Aug. 5.
