Becoming a CPA in Ohio

MEET THE EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Complete 150 semester hours. 30 semester hours must be in accounting.

Must complete during an 18 month time frame. Each section is 3-4 hours.

Ohio requires 3 hours of Ethics education.

Have one year of accounting experience, verified by a CPA. Internships count!

Complete the forms required by the Accountancy Board of Ohio.

The Accounting Careers Leadership Academy

The Accounting Careers Leadership Academy is an exciting professional development opportunity to help college students from all backgrounds prepare for a successful future in the accounting industry. Participants will hear from leaders in the profession as they highlight the limitless possibilities of a career as a CPA.

When: Monthly virtual series
- May 11th 11AM - 11:50AM 
- July 27th 12PM - 12:50PM
- September 14th 1PM - 1:50PM
- Optional (in person) luncheon on November 4th,11:30 AM - 2:00 PM (Columbus, luncheon site TBD)
